The Legal Affairs Department performs the following tasks:

The Legal Affairs Department carries out the following tasks:

Primary Duties:
1. Organizing contracts and conducting tenders and auctions.
2. Authentication of powers of attorney and guarantees as a notary public.
3. Participation in authorization committees.
4. Legal representation of the college before courts and pleading in lawsuits filed against others or against the college.

Secondary Duties:
1. Representation of the college before the Public Integrity Commission.
2. Providing legal consultations.
3. Participation in committees as required by the department within a legal framework.
4. Annual subscription to the Iraqi Official Gazette.
5. Reviewing all official and unofficial departments regarding the college’s legal interests.
6. Implementing legal procedures required by the college.
