Student Projects Festival

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Petroleum and Gas Engineering Technologies in Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Obed Majeed Ali, the College of Petroleum and Gas Engineering Technologies in Kirkuk organized a Student Projects and Innovations Festival as part of the Entrepreneurship Week activities. The festival was attended by the Assistant President of the Northern Technical University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Omar Rafeh Mahmoud, along with several members of the college council, faculty members, and students. The festival showcased a distinguished collection of engineering projects and student innovations in the fields of oil and gas, renewable energy, and supporting technologies. These projects reflected the high level of scientific and technical skills possessed by the college’s students and their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical applications that serve the job market and keep pace with technological advancements. The event was met with positive feedback from attendees, who praised the students’ efforts and the supervision of their faculty members. They emphasized the importance of supporting young talent and nurturing entrepreneurial ideas that contribute to achieving sustainable development and enhance the university’s standing in scientific circles. The organization of this festival stems from the college’s commitment to fostering a culture of creativity and innovation and encouraging students to present high-quality projects that contribute to Addressing technical challenges, in line with the Northern Technical University’s vision of supporting leadership and academic excellence.
